Karen, who cares about some jerk at work? Why do you put up with this kind of shit in your home? You need to do some serious negotiation with the neandethal you married. If he won't play along, go on strike. Cook for yourself and the kids and let him fend for himself. I could understand it if you have some system worked out where he does other chores and you do the cooking, but you don't say that's the case. And to cook for himself and the kids but not for you is the action of a petty bully.
