If harmonica players are still reading this thread, can I recommend my favourite - Lee Oskar in the key of 'low F '.Harmonica makers usually make the F harmonica the highest and the G the lowest, but you can get a Lee Oskar in 'low F', a full tone below the G one. Many singers sing in F (I do myself quite often) and you can get some lovely tones on this harmonica. In fact, if someone else is singing in F with the kind of song the harmonica accompaniment fits, my little heart beats just that bit faster, and my hands fly to 'low F' gob-iron.
(Remember we're not talking cross-harp here, but straight harp).
