Kat, that sounds wonderful. I lived with my father for the last 15 years of his life and only began to get a real feel for his past and his thoughts when he started writing. (His first book was published on his 90th birthday) Now that he's gone, I realize how little I really know of his life. Spent the time with your dad while you can, your life will be the richer for it.
