I recently acquired a Lowden cedar top and think the sound is great.

I understood that cedar would not "age" as well as spruce, but always took it to mean the current sound would pretty much be the future sound, unlike some Martins that have developed a wonderful tone over the years.

Spaw, did I miss something?
