Try it and let us know. Of course, even if you are able to answer your own questions, you'll still probably feel a need to respond to those of others. I do, but I never claimed to be able to shut up about anything.

In answer to the question about the eggs - refrigerate.
If there's any salmonella, it's in there regardless of temperature, but it grows faster at room temperature. Salmonella is killed by cooking. Once upon a time, before salmonella was in eggs, the only reason to refrigerate them was to keep them from deteriorating. (As in breaking down and eventually drying up.)
