I am perfectly happy to be referred to as a woman; it's what I am. I don't particularly like "lady," as it has various meanings, depending on who is using it. I also don't mind being referred to casually (for instance, in a mixed group, as "guys"), assuming it is respectful. That's the point for me, I think.
