A friend of mine quoted recently from an Iternational relations exam:The pope has said that there are two possible hopes for the coming of peace to the world, a realistic one and a miraculous one. The realistic one would be to expect divine intervention. The miraculous one would be be to let those involved work it out on their own.
Note: I have no proof nor have I sought any that John Paul II actually said this or anything like it.
Always wishing the best to everyone, everywhere, as unrealistic as that may be, -J
