She removes my eye/hand vision on occasion - usually when I am late for work and frantically trying to find my house keys, the ones in my right hand.

Once, she took away my memory of how to turn off the turn signal on my car. In desperation, I threw the car in reverse at forty miles per hour (true story) and tore up the transmission. Several tests and scans later, it was discovered that I had a minor thyroid problem which was affecting my memory. Within two days of starting medication, I was fine.
So all of you fearing the onset of Alzheimers, get a blood workup before panicking. Fortunately for me, the car (a company car) was stolen three days later, so I never had to explain the state of the transmission to management.
