Thread Name: Lyr Req/Add: Bombers' Moon (Mike Harding)
Subject: Bomber's Moon
Does anyone out there have the words to "Bomber's Moon" by Mike Harding? I used to have the lyrics (painstakingly copied from a TV performance) but, unfortunately my songbook went AWOL some time back (and I hadn't yet copied that particular song to disc). In case anyone has the lyrics, but knows it by another name, it starts

'44 in "Bomber County",
Young men waiting for the night,
In the hedgerows birds are singing,
Singing in the falling light
And the Captain says "Tonight there'll be a Bomber's Moon,
"We'll be there and back underneath a bomber's moon"...
then there's a couplet I can't remember and that's just in the first verse.

It's driving me up the wall, can somebody please help.

Thanks

Walrus
