The hamlet of Boolavogue and The Harrow (where the Bookey "incident" took place) are just a few miles SE of Fearns, Co Wexford. The Father Murphy Centre was opened in 1998, by President Mary McAleeese. He is buried in an unknown grave in Tullow, Co Carlow, though there is a memorial stone to him there. The area around about is marked "Father Murphy's Last Journey", I followed the trail recently.
