Many don't specifically mention the day, it is true - they may ony note an historical event, it's date and a folk song that deals with it. Or perhaps a Folk NHoweverotable's birthday. But a large percent of the days do have songs asociated. Martinmass is particularly populated with songs. We used to run a contest for who could come up with the most.
