Whoever said "if I like it I'll learn it," captures my feeling. Just because something was popular doesn't make it bad; just something was popular doesn't make it good. I'm not enough of an iconoclast to like stuff just because it's rare or weird. If it's got that groove, it's got that groove, and if it don't, it don't.
