Hi, all,The boys have been without Internet access for the past couple of days. Anna doesn't have access at home now, only at her video store. Duane D. & I were able to join the group for the day today; we were at Anna & Glenn's from 11 am to 7 pm & had a really *lovely* time! Anna & Glenn are warm hosts. It was wonderful to see Bill again & great to meet Ian & Sam. They are all that others have said, in terms of both their playing & their neat personalities. Bert, Max & his daughter, & Karen K were there, too. Gill, Sam is looking good. I told him you needed to hear from him & he looked up the thread as soon as we arrived at the store today. Mrs. Stephensen, it seems that Ian is doing well enough that he is actually putting on a little weight! What a nice young man he is! Lorna, your boy is doing well, too, though he's looking a bit tired. Yes, Bill is occasionally eating, in addition to drinking tea. Rumor has it, he ate breakfast 3 days in a row! We had a good visit, heard some of the boys' music, & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I pumped Max for information on Mudcat things I was curious about. We would have loved to stay for the concert tonight (9 pm-2 am--yikes!), but we have commitments at church tomorrow & had abandoned my 16 & 19 yr old at home. As usual when Mudcatters get together, it was very comfortable, like a continuing conversation between friends. I hope you will all have the opportunity to meet & greet at least some of the group in person; it's well worth the time!
best to all,
bbc
P.S.--In the driveway, we had cars from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, & Pennsylvania.
