Hear last night on a show calle dCumberland Highlanders that on August 23 in Rosine KY, Dr. Ralph Stanley will be on hand to help dedicate the restored birthplace of Bill and Charlie Munroe. Sure wish I could be there. I think I also heard or read that there will be a celebration stretching over sevral days around August 22 to 25 honoring the Father of Bluegrass. Anyone planning to attend could keep the rest of us posted and maybe even take some pictures to share. Ralph Stanley is somewat of a regular on the show, The Cumberland Highlanders which we get on the Outdoor Channel each Saturday at 6:30PM. Good show, try to catch it.
