Golly, you mean I was more liberal than Kat? I deplore the death penalty in general, and in particular the sloppy and uneven way it's applied in this country. At no time did I wish Tim McVeigh dead. I think for the safety of our society he needs to be locked up permanently, and the key melted down and recycled. But killing him serves no purpose except base and ignoble ones, IMHO.
