I don't agree with capital punishment. In Timothy McVeigh's case, he wanted to be executed because he did not want to spend the rest of his life in prison. They gave him exactly what he wanted-release. He should have been forced to spend every day in hard labor and every night listening to the tears and screams and chaos he created. Letting him spend the rest of his life wishing he were dead until he felt sorrow and remorse for what he'd done. That would have been a fit punishment.
