I was thinking Julia Roberts for Alison, and Susan Sarandon for Blessings Barbara. Liam Neeson for Mick Bracken, Colm Meaney for Frank McGrath. The voice of God for Dick, and a Marian apparition for Susan. Max will have to be portrayed by the Wizard of Oz. I am nominating Mel Gibson to play Alan of Australia.
