There's an alley in Dublin called Hell. In the 18th century it used to be full of carnival tricks and sweet sellers and barbecues, and anyone coming up from the country would have to visit it with the kids. Now it's just an empty (and rather dangerous from local thugs) alley.

Then there's the Strawberry Beds, and Lemon Street opposite Bewley's in Grafton Street.
