There's probably a whole thread about translation changing meaning, but in one of the Threepennys I have when Jenny is asked, kill 'em now or later? she answers with a sort of jaunty "Hop-la", whatever that means. In Judy Collins' version, though, she answers in a sort of dreamy/stoned voice, "Killum NOW..." More chilling.
