I am used to much longer music. A song that is only 3 minutes is too short for me. I like longer songs, between 5-10 minutes, though not ballads, because it's usually very short phrases for each 4 line verse, and there are always like 13 verses. Something so long without musical variation doesn't sit with me very well.
