So does anyone know who wrote the "Red Rockin' Chair" that goes, "I ain't got no use for my red rockin' chair, I ain't got no sugar baby now, baby now! Some ol' gal came along, took my sugar babe and gone...gave him everything I made, then I laid him in the shade, but I ain't got no sugar baby, now"? One listing says "Charlie Monroe", but I thought it was traditional. Some call the tune, "sugar baby". Am getting ready to release a cd with it as tune #1, and need to know for mechanical licensing reasons. Thanks!!!!
