But what if Bill is elected VP, and Hillary (God forbid) has a heart attack and dies less than 2 years into her first term. Could Bill fill out the remainder of her term? The amendment only seems to say that once you've served more than 2 years of somebody else's term, you can't be elected more than once. It doesn't say anything about serving more than 2 years of somebody else's term after you've already been elected twice.

It would seem it would be perfectly allowable.
