When my grandparents "visited" me, my grandmother looked as she did to me, when I was about 6 or 7 years old, but my grandfather looked the same as he did when I saw him a couple of days before he died. The interesting thing about his appearance, was that he had sort of buzz cut with white hair stubble on his head (in life he parted his hair to the side) and he had a tan, and looked very vibrant and healthy. Neither had ever been to Florida nor had tans in their lives. My grandfather passed when I was almost 15 and my grandmother when I was 22. (I'm 47.)
