i heard a guy play this at a jam in lemoore, CA 2 weeks ago. since then i found a photo copy of a song i collected from 'hispanic folk songs from new mexico'. it's the 'answer song' in spanish, probably long preceding this one but it seems to relate to the same events. good 'corrido'. now that you mention it, i'll enter a verse or two when i get the chance.
