Casey Stengel ("I had many years that I was not so successful as a ballplayer, as it is a game of skill.") and Yogi Berra ("I couldn't tell if the streaker was a man or a woman because it had a bag on it's head.") are obviously masters, not just of this language, but the mode of thinking behind it. Stengel is gone, now, but perhaps Berra might be considered for political office. He's a bit long in the tooth, but considering the make-up of the Senate, that shouldn't be a deterent. After all, when Berra once remarked, "I didn't really say everything I said," I think he showed a real flair for politics.Don Firth
