Ive just spent the last few days listening to John Hartfords cd Wild Hog in the red brush. and found that another friend (by some weird coincidence) had just discovered his music and was listening to the same cd for the last 5 days. I was saddened to hear of his death a few weeks ago and had only seen him just once at the Festival of Fiddle tunes in Port Townsend Washington, where the best moment was the last night of the festival when John and Gary Lee Moore jammed in a tiny hallway in 204 well into the wee hours.

Anyway Im wondering if anyone can recommend other cd's of his that are in the same vein as Wild Hog (ie. mainly fiddle tunes). As I will be in fiddle tunes next week and plan to buy some more. cheers. Petr
