I don't know if this will help, but the way I think about it is this; I don't know what *exactly* is in store for me in the afterlife. I am a very spiritual person, and believe in my path, however, I don't think there is any way to describe the afterlife adequately in the here and now in a way that we material and stuck in linear time beings will understand. Whatever it is you can imagine eternity to be? That aint it.
