This afternoon, I and Little Hawk went to the Arts for Peace Festival at the Stephen Leacock Home in Orillia, and Morris Danced for the first time in my life. (Hi, John B!)

Then we listened to "Alex", a local band, play some folk tunes. They are pretty good, and a lot of fun, but the sound guy must have been deaf. Sophoclesse started playing soccer with a couple of people, probably to get away from the overpowering loudness of the music.

Then we heard some beautiful, powerful singing from Marg Raynor. The talent from around here is AMAZING! Then I went home because poor Little Hawk was FREEEEEZING in the freaky cold weather we had today! And he was driving, so I had to leave. (That Morris Dancing must have been powerful, because I wasn't that cold. I'm usually the one who gets cold before ANYONE gets cold...)

Then later we watched fireworks.
