My grandfather's flag from his funeral was proudly flown Memorial Days and Fourth of July, VJ day, VE day, and Patriot's Day until it was no longer in shape to fly.

And though now it sits correctly folded in a box in the closet - it is still in the family - and his grandchildren have a lot of memories to pass on - not just of Grandpop, but of the various days we flew hisflag.
