I recall a teacher of mine telling following story, wich contains for me everything to consider about death... for we are not even able to understand life...

Now there were those two monks, and they were very worried about the question how they would have to spend eternity. So they made solemn vows, whoever died first, would visit his fellow and tell him. - Now one of them happens to drop dead, and the other one anxiously awaits midnight - the hour when the barriers between this world and the other side are thinned, so they say.

Lo and behold! Indeed his deceased fellow emerges from the shadows at midnight... Although terribly frightened, our monk asks him: "And how is it over there???"

Before disappearing again (and forever), his dead mate only says two words: "Totaliter aliter"... "Totally different..."
