Seriously, you are very unlikely to be disappointed in that article/interview.

And if ever you get the chance to see Ron live - take it . . . He is a wonderful performer, including his tales. He most certainly has the Irish "gift of the gab . . " - but without the excess of sentimentality which sometimes goes with that.

However, Tommas Lynch's performance of the song on "The Crux of the Catalogue" is still the best I've heard . . that CD would certainly feature in my "all time 10 greatest folk recordings". In the context of this particular thread, the CD includes a trilogy of songs which provide (succeessfully, IMO) "the history of 'the troubles'".
