As Gervase recommends Maidenhead (only 1/2 an hour by car)has an excellent singers club which meets at the Ferry In Cookham Thursdays 8pm. Parking is a bit sparse tho :)

Another local club is Nettlebed http://www.nettlebed.freeserve.co.uk/ who run more of a concert style on Mondays. Good for seeing big names!

Also there are monthly guest concerts at Norden Farm Arts Centre in Maidenhead. Bohinta are performing next week and Kate Rusby in September
