We perform longer ballads in our shows, but work the audience up to it. We are sort of on a mission to keep doing ballads because we've been told that modern audiences don't have the attention span. They seem to go over when we perform them, so we must be doing something right. I, too, like a good melody with a story and don't want a good tune to end.
