Actually, all of our spellings were wrong, according to my Webster's New World Dictionary. The correct spelling is vacillating. I will grant you the point about the name: I would hereafter call him Hussain, but most people in the U.S. wouldn't know who the heck I was talking about, so--while granting you the point--I'll continue to call him Saddam.
