So fare the well the Mudcat site,
When I return united we shall be,
It's not the leaving of Mudcat that grieves me,
It's the friends that I know so well.

I am bound for some quiet thinking time,
Round the back of the Happisburgh Shoal,{*)
And I'll think of Blogg of Cromer fame, {#}
And, perchance, sing the songs to his name.

I have gone to do my own thoughts,
No trolls or flamers bother me,
I can watch the bad threads from afar
Rise up and fall like a shooting star.
