My apologies - given what you quoted, Lyle's song seemed likely.

I have 3 Iris Dement CDs - as far as I aware, she has released only 3 - and a song with your chorus is not on any of them. If she has recorded it, it is likely to be on a compilation, concert set or something of that kind.
