I have just checked Clinton's link to the DT and the lyrics as given are riddled with mondegreens.

"When barkin' was no pleasure" should read "When parting was no pleasure"

"In delight of all creations" should read "ta'en delight in all creation"

"To the good friends that were treasure
For they always around were mine." is just sheer nonsense and should read
"To the good friends we treasure
For they always were on our mind"

"You're gallopin with balacitis" should read "You've got galloping bollockitis".

Jeez ...........
