Okay, the next Mudcat Challenge is here.Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to write a complete short story which is exactly 100 words long - no more and no less.
It has to be a proper story with everything you want to express in those 100 words.
When I was working in the library we had a book of these from a British Sunday Telegraph competition. I saw one of the stories as a short film on tv a few years later. Very clever. And very economical use of words to convey the complexity of the story.
