I recently showed my apartment to a young couple with twin almost-6-year-olds who were a handful. I kept them at bay by promising a look at the kittens and generally enjoying most of what they did. They were cute and funny and bright and the fact they were identical only made them cuter. When it was time to go, they announced, "Daddy, we don't have to look at any more houses. We want to live here." When Daddy replied that he wasn't sure they could afford it, one turned to me and said "If we don't buy your house, will you be our baby-sitter?" What could be nicer?
