In MS Word, highlight the text and do a Shift-F3, and it will all be magically changed back to lower case.
You don't even have to highlight single-word changes. If your cursor is "in" a word, Shift-F3 will roll it through ALL caps, Initial Caps, and all lowercase. Stop when you get where you want it.
