Subject: RE: BS: Gary Condit vs. Connie Chung. Hardball
One item that I think may have been overlooked in regard to Miss Levy losing her job at the Justice Department. If Condit had WANTED to keep her in Washington, he could have pulled some strings and got her a job back in the Justice Department. Acccording to him, she wanted to work at the FBI or CIA. As a member of the important committee he sits on, you think he couldn't have secured her a job?

I think he was relieved that she was leaving town, and I really don't think he had anything to do with her disappearance. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I grew a bit tired of Connie Chung trying to push him into admitting he had an affair with the young lady. Does anyone doubt that he did? If had answered, "Yes I did," would Connie have had a follow-up question?

I think he did obstruct justice by not coming forward immediately and aiding the police as quickly as he could. That could have made a difference in helping to find Miss Levy. Unfortunately, I really doubt she will be found alive though.
