Long long time ago I can still recall how Rick Cunha used to make me smileWith a tune I think he wrote Just a few words I can quote And maybe they'll convey his sense of style ...
(That's about enough of that!)
I'm looking for the words - and if anyone remembers the tune for the verses that'd be fine too - to Rick Cunha's song "Yo Yo Man" ...
The chorus went,
Down at the playground, puttin on a show Talkin to the little kids (Listen to my yo yo) (I'm a yo-yo man) RC Cola, Scooter Pie ... Sleepin at the "Y"
The (lines in parentheses) seemed to be interchangeable; somewhere in memory I've got them two-tracked, one sung over the other, maybe it was recorded that way?
And the "..." stands in for six notes plunked on the guitar.
Does anyone else remember this? (Remember more of it than I can?)
With kind regards, Stranger Here
