We don't really need to know, I guess. The question had popped into my mind as I read the first Smoot Tennesee post. Writing exactly one hundred words is an arbitrary goal which can be easily accomplished by writing aproximately a hundred words then shorting the story through the use of contractions or lengthing it with adjectives as required. I just counted sixty words so now I have to add about forty more. That was fourteen, leaving twenty six. Now twenty. Eighteen more words, and the story will be done. Nine more. Another seven words and the job is done.
