Shambles - I think you might be missing the point. It's not a question of being "brave" - the Wareham Wail is a celebration of unaccompanied singing, so if that's not your thing you go somewhere else. A lot of the people who go to Wareham play instruments but not at the Wail. If you don't respect or feel comfortable with, what the weekend's for, don't go. The rest of us will have a wonderful time.
