I thought you were talking about the first time I confronted a very tall teenage boy who was misbehaving in class. If you had changed the pronouns from "he" to "him" and the last words to "Sit back down in your seat" it would be my experience exactly. Especially the part about being surprised that he accepted my authority without question.
