Carol C — Just an aside to your comment about Paul Gross. Until last fall my only awareness of him was as the Mountie in Due South, which has to be one of the STUPIDEST shows I've ever seen — right on a par with Murder, She Wrote — but he starred in Hamlet at the Stratford (Ont.) Festival and did a wonderful job. Certainly changed my estimation of his talent, but only made me angry that such a craftsman should stoop to the level of DS.

Of course, I've met people on both sides of the border who think DS is a great show. Go figure.
