All I can say is that with all that 'fertility' they are flicking about with their hankies, etc, PLUS their capacity for alcoholic beverages, then cross-dressing is hardly the kind of alternative pursuit that Morris Dancers would follow if the narrow-minded were to succeed in turning the unwashed masses against it....
