Unfortunately, I'm in charge of the BBQ, and must prepare the smelts - jack smelts, BTW, fresh froze from the Northumberland Straight some months ago and kept special for the Labour Day weekend bash and seesion, along with birch and spruce partridge, moose, deer, cod tongues, scallops, lobster.... lard dyin geeziz, I wish ye was ere... twould be shockin good !!!
