Kim, very good questions/comments. Of course it was just plain wrong and unfair to try to force folks to testify. But try they did and succeeded often. In addition, they skirted the law by outlawing the Communist party in America. Your questions were what drove me during the time: how can they do this? It isn't right? It isn't fair. It isn't legal.
