I've got a Seagull "A" series I paid $800.00 US for it. When I was shopping I compared it to a $ 1,350 Taylor, The least expensive taylor in the shop not counting the Baby Taylors. I liked the Seagull better then and I still do. I like my 1964 Gibson J45 better than either, but maybe that will change once the Seagull has been played for 25 years or so.

At a lower price point you are looking at the Seagulls can be an excellent value. But so can some others. Take CraigS's advive and go try some guitars. Pick one that sounds good to you and is copmfortable in your hands.
